The "ROCK-CUTTER" is a hybrid industrial cutting tool that has undergone surface modification through special build-up welding. The cutting edge has been treated with build-up welding and special heat treatment, resulting in a hardness of approximately Hv900, comparable to high-speed steel, in the surface layer of about 3mm. The interior of the tool is maintained at a hardness of around Hv500 to ensure toughness, effectively preventing tool breakage during foreign object intrusion.
